- Educational Technologist ie a Developer interested in building next generation blended learning applications.
- What experience do you bring to this network?
- Worked in VET and Higher Ed for 10 years (4 years Open Learning Institute of TAFE, 1.5 years Griffith University and 6 years QUT). I have experience in designing and developing Learning Management Systems and plugins/extensions (streaming media, reflective journaling, problem based learning) for Learning Management Systems. In my last year at QUT, I built a tool to translate content and activities from OLT (an in-house built LMS) to Blackboard via the IMS-CP format. As a developer I am passionate about building tools to empower teachers/learners. I am interested in problem based learning, games based learning and social networking and mashups. I recently joined the Innovations Unit at Brisbane North Institute of TAFE as an Applications Developer.
