About Me:
I'm from the professional technology sector and I'm on ning to make connections with educators to learn how they use technology to benefit their classroom. Vocational training caught my eye as a group I should try an understand better because it seems like a field that needs very practical and powerful tools to quickly and fully convey knowledge and skills to students.
What experience do you bring to this network?
I'm a professional with Internet technology. More specifically I'm part of a start up and one of our goals is to provide educators with simple and powerful tools that enable them online. I mostly here to develop good rapport with educators and learn from their experiences. I like to ask a lot of questions too.

There does seem to be some evidence that shows US schools are starting to lose competitive edge internationally.

"A
swiftly rising number of American workers at every skill level are in
direct competition with workers in every corner of the globe. While our
international counterparts are increasingly getting more education,
their young people are getting a better education as well. American
students and young adults place anywhere from the middle to the bottom
of the pack in all three… Continue
